he key to list building is not the size of your list. I know this may sound strange to you, but having a list of 20K subscribers is not a guarantee for success and in no case is better than a 2K list. The key to a great list is by no means the size of the list.

A successful list depends on a number of factors that are more important than the size of the list:

  • How the list was build – using quality targeted traffic or junk traffic
  • What kind of relationship you have with your list
  • Do you provide true value to your list
  • Do you spam your list with mails every day promoting every product you can find

One thing that you shouldn’t have any doubt about is the simple fact that YOU MUST BUILD A LIST. And once you have a list you should treat it as gold. Treat is as your child. You will need to look after your list and the last thing you want to do is to start promoting every product you can find.

Again, the size of you list doesn’t matter. Only the quality matters and the relationship you have with your list.

I would much rather have a list of 2K subscribers that buy than a list of 20K subscribers that never buy anything. If you have a list that is not responsive and you are getting no sales from that list, than what good is it to you?

A common saying is that each subscribers on your list is worth $1 per month. When you think about it, you will soon realize that is not true. It is far from the truth.

I mean, if that saying was true than all those spammers out there that are buying email lists would be making millions each and every month. They don’t.

A list is only great if it converts to sales. There are 3 main factors for a high quality subscribers list:

  1. They should trust you.
  2. They should have a relationship with you. In order to build a relationship you will need to provide a lot of great value showing that you actually care about their success and not about your own.
  3. They should be interested in what you have to offer. They should all be qualified leads.

Building a list with qualified leads depends on where you get the traffic from and their mindset. You need your list to be created with qualified leads that are highly targeted as they will convert better.

After you get the qualified leads you need to add value and build a relationship. Only by doing this you will make serious money for years to come.

There are many ways to build a list and you can find tons of products surrounding this subject. There is one way that stands out above all the rest and you don’t need to buy any product in order to learn about it. You probably already know about it, even though you may not be aware that you know about it.

The number one list building method is a product launch. It is what all the “gurus” do and will never really teach you to do yourself. Most people only think about how much money they make with each product launch but they fail to understand the more important aspect of a product launch.

List building.

With product launches you get to build huge lists in a very short time, but more importantly, you get to build a list with qualified leads as the list is made of people that are focused on your product and your product niche.
